What is the Alpha course?
Alpha is a non-pressurised, fun and informative course. It is a place to share your thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don't go to church or who haven't been to church in a long time and are interested in the Christian faith.
The course is based around sharing a simple meal followed by a talk and an informal discussion around the the person of Jesus.
During 2013 we completed an Alpha course within the three Leigh churches and completed a Youth Alpha course in January 2014 but whose members continue to meet. We will be looking at the possability of running further courses in the future so look out for more details that will follow. If you would like to join a course now, we would suggest that you visit the main Alpha website that has details of courses registered by other local churches.
